Pull Up is a small product made in New York for finding concerts and going with friends. This page says exactly what we collect and why, in plain English. The short version: we collect what the product needs to work, nothing more, and you can delete all of it yourself in about ten seconds.
What we collect
Your phone number.It's how you sign in. If you opt in, it's also how we text you about shows. Nobody else ever sees it.
Your first name.Shown to friends on plans and wall posts. That's the only name we ask for.
Taste signals. The genres you pick, shows you save or pass on, swipes, artists and venues you follow, plans you join, and how nights actually went when we ask. This is what powers your recommendations.
Picked-contact hashes. If you invite friends from your contacts in the app, we store a one-way hash of only the numbers you picked, just enough to connect you automatically when a friend joins later. We never see, upload, or store your address book, and hashes are never displayed anywhere.
Basic usage.Anonymous counters like "how many people signed up this week." No ad trackers, no third-party analytics scripts.
What we do with it
Recommend shows that fit your taste, run plans with your friends, and send the texts you asked for. That's the whole list.
We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. Your data is never shared with anyone except the services that physically run the product: Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database), Twilio (text delivery), and Apple (song previews). None of them may use it for anything else.
What other people see
Your first name on plans you join and posts you write on an event wall. Friends you're connected with can see shows you've saved. Nobody sees your phone number, ever.
Texts
Texts are opt-in and controlled from your account page. Reply STOP to any text and they end immediately.
Deleting everything
Go to your account → delete account(in the iOS app, it's under "you"). It removes your account, phone number, name, taste signals, saves, follows, wall posts, and your spot on friends' plans, immediately and permanently. Plans you host stay live for your guests with your name removed.
The boring but honest details
Pull Up is for people 13 and older. Data lives on servers in the United States. If this policy ever changes in a way that matters, we'll say so on this page with a new date at the top. Questions: ayushupneja@gmail.com.
